HUMBOLDT COUNTY
So . . . Alison and Jamie had a run in with some real creative types last Thursday. After work they attended a sneak preview of the film Humboldt County, courtesy of Rob Withers (Primepay fame). After thoroughly enjoying themselves at the movies, the ladies were astoundingly impressed by the film’s directors that happened to be hosting a brief Q&A post screening.
Soon enough they found themselves enjoying libations at the Heathman Bar with three lovely film makers. Lets just say that the night went on and on from there including many fits of laughter and a collision of new found friends. The guys were even helpful on the topic of the impending Salon remodel; coming up with a slough of new name possibilities for the new space. What do you all think of “I H8te Hair”? Although they never made it in to the Salon this trip, we welcome them back to Portland any time they like.
As for now, the movie opens tomorrow 9/26 in Portland at the Hollywood Theater and will run for one week. This is truly one not to be missed and we encourage all to attend and show their support to these genuinely talented friends. For more information go to www.humboldtcountymovie.com.
FOIL RECYCLING
