FACELIFT AHOY
We are excited to announce that this April the Salon will be getting a facelift including new paint and window coverings! The selection of colors is an eye-popping array that incorporates rich hues of green and blue, offset by warm white and dark chocolate accents. Original plans for a major remodel have been placed on hold for the time being due to the current state of the economy. Stay tuned for continued updates in décor and energy within the space. As for now, the new interior is sure to brighten the cloudiest of Portland days, as well as enhance the sunny ones that are right around the corner!

Bumble & Bumble has two exciting new products making their debut! The B&b gel is an alcohol-free product touted as “flexible, brush-able and never sticky.” The gellac is a firmer hold gel lacquer, and contains the unique ingredient PEG-ISO, which is used as a thickening agent and offers conditioning and emolliency properties. Spring!? We all hope that Spring is right around the corner and with the seasonal shift there’s bound to be good weather heading our way. With sunshine on the horizon it’s time to start thinking about digging out those open-toed shoes! Who doesn’t like to treat those toes to a pedicure after the long dark winter months?

ANNOUNCING . . . KMS!
Alison and Jamie P. recently returned from an amazingly comprehensive class offered by Goldwell/KMS entitled ‘Women’s Foundations’. Both of them came away from the education proclaiming a new found knowledge and inspiration on a variety of classic women’s hairstyles. These classes that are offered frequently by our Color line (Goldwell) and our Home Care line (KMS) include superior knowledge and support related to all aspects of hair services.
After much debate, we have embraced KMS California products in lieu of Redken. We found that the line offers much more in terms of range and quality as well as doing so at a similar price point. We are very excited about all KMS has to offer and are eager to share tips and samples with everyone.
